Juanita Perez, fondly known as Janie, served as a registered nurse for over 30 years. During that time, she reached out to her pediatric nephrology patients and families to meet their needs, from blankets to meals to lodging. Staying true to her mission, we see a need for energetic nonprofit work in this area and formed our organization to provide patients with these basic needs and to also support general and nursing education. We're launching this nonprofit to help out the neediest members of our community, and to continue Janie's legacy of kindness and generosity.
